The education and training of the new generations are basic to achieve a sustainable development. IIDMA trough the Training and Education Program contributes to that process.
From the summer of 1997, the Institute receives students and young graduates who had done an excellent work. This training activity is developed trough cooperation agreements with Universidad Carlos III and the Program “International Environmental Law Clinic of the New York University School of Law”. IIDMA´s team has organized courses and seminars on different issues linked to environmental law and policy. IIDMA’s staff teaches on these subjects in courses organized by the following institutions: Universidad Complutense, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Compañía de la Formación, Instituto de Empresa, Fundació Universitat-Empresa de Valencia, GPF, Instituto de Empresa y Casa Encendida.
In September of 1999, IIDMA provided training in EC Environmental Law to Slovak officials, in the region of Nitra under the EU enlargement actions.
IIDMA staff also participates as speakers in many international and national fora on environmental law and policy. They also publish in specialized media.
